I received this excellent quote from a newly ordained priest in a conversation about a year ago. 
He mentioned Saint Bernard of Clairvaux quote and on the surface, and how it seems to focus on the side of life where things are not going the way we plan but when he flipped this quote on its head and revealed its twofold meaning I was amazed. Not only should we think of eternity durring the sorrows of this earthly like but also in the joys as well.
